A series of Desktop clock applications for MultiFinder and System 7, (I hope).
With the introduction of system 7 DAs, as we know them, take a back seat to small applications that do the same job in a more flexible way.
Over the years, screens and memory have grown so restrictions on desktop space and application heaps have become less important and DAs can be easily replaced by applications working under MultiFinder.
Four of the clocks are designed to place themselves into the bottom left corner and just keep time, the fifth clock is an application that is just here as a novelty, it speaks the time from a recording of the Talking Clock used by Telecom Australia in Perth Western Australia.
The clocks all use the 'playsnd' command and so need system 4.1 or better, system 6 recommended, some testing done with system 7 but not every case can be foreseen, sorry, not able to say they are 'bullet-proof'.
All clocks chime and some offer you a choice of snds that can be used. In addition, Clanger has an animated sequence that shows up each half hour.
The sundial, has a choice of southern or nothern hemisphere and the arrow will show you which way north should be and it is best to have this arrow and your Mac point to the north to ensure accuracy. At night time the Sun icon is replaced by a Moon icon so that you don't loose track of the daylight hours, unlike most sundials, it also chimes the hour.
